Why me?  Becuz...

Every artist should have a hot video (actually two or three), and in this digital age it is possible.  I am especially fond of the independents and the newer artists and I want to create a supafly video for them.  I am solid at coming in on budget, exceeding expectations and building relationships.  So if you believe in your music and you are in need of a video that’s going to win.  Get at me…we’ll work something out.  Guaranteed quality, guaranteed fresh! Who is...?

Ali Baba is Rubin Whitmore II ...shhhh, don't tell anyone! I have been blessed to helm classic videos like, DMX’s “Slippin'”, Goodie Mob’s “Soul Food” and E-40’s “Sprinkle Me” which according to MTV2/XXL is one of the top 10 west coast videos of all time.  So after amassing an impressive body of work often seen on BET and MTV, I decided to go all digital and focus on the emerging new media markets and artists.  Introducing…Ali “Baba” Rosenthal III.
I was given this monniker when I was near the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.  Kids would run up on me and point at me declaring, “Ali Baba”.  I added the Rosenthal to show how juxtaposed and complex the world is and yet it’s still capable of being supafly.  Now, Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves is a badazz story about a normal guy who figured out how to rob from the powers that be.  I figured media is the powers that be and I feel like I’m robbing them of their control over the masses...not to mention, some might even say I am badazz.  Open sesame…mofo!

Y’all ain’t fully understanding how crucial these kids are.  They are relevant like when Pharcyde hit the scene.  I was hipped to them by my man Big JG from the CBC during The CORE DJ retreat in ATL.  When we did the video these kids were still in high school touring all over the South…grinding…making fans.  What up to CEO Charlie and Els who made the video possible…yep!

This is that Midwest club anthem, its got young kids and grannies “bowing”.  A very clean and sleek video it gets over 1k views a day and keeps making history as the hottest independent video out of the Mil.  It helped Nitti grab the Milwaukee UMA artist or single of the year and got labels making offers…120k hits and counting.  Shoutouts to DJ Willie Shakes for the plug…bow!

When I started politicking for this video, eMC was still called GMC (Good Music Crew) but some bogus corporation seemed to lay claim to these letter…so Masta Ace, Stricklin, Punchline and Wordsworth upped their flow to excellent. In Europe these real lyricists rock 10k+ people crowds and do 20 city tours…in order for them to keep the buzz they rely on new music and hot new videos.  So when they went on tour to Europe they invited me to come along and make this hotness.

Shoutouts to Lucky, Reese and JB for spending almost a year in the #1 slot on WGCI, more than Kels.  This video never “officially” aired but it has over a half million hits since it’s been posted on YouTube.  That’s wild considering it came out in 2002 and didn’t get posted until 2007, but its impact is lasting and the video definitely keeps it as a true Midwest jam… plus the remix was a beast!
